the Bauhuas (the early, 20th Century design school, not the band), Paul Rand, Jan Tschichold and “neue typographie”, Mies van der Rohe…”Less is more”, Swiss poster design, Starting with sketches, white space, being able to design without a computer when I want, typography, detailed typesetting, letterpress, and keeping it simple.
